About Sydney School of Entrepreneurship
Sydney School of Entrepreneurship (SSE) is an unprecedented new partnership between all 11 NSW universities and TAFE NSW.
It was established with a $25million cornerstone investment by the NSW Government.
Independent and not for profit, Sydney in name only and state wide in operation. SSE’s central HQ and campus is located in Ultimo’s cultural, educational and entrepreneurial quarter, with its building on TAFE NSW campus across the road from UTS - neighbouring the Chippendale Creative
Precinct and Ultimo Tech Precinct and a short distance to Sydney, Australia’s Financial Capital.
SSE is the beginning of a new generation of NSW entrepreneurs.
Bringing together students across disciplines, across universities and TAFE, across sectors, locations and backgrounds, SSE will provide access
to practical training, support and mentoring for students looking to establish and operate innovative businesses across NSW. Informed by the hugely successful Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship, SSE will focus on cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset and capability.
Founding academic partners of the school include Australian Catholic University, Charles Sturt University, Macquarie University, Southern Cross University, TAFE NSW, The University of Sydney The University of Newcastle, University of New England, University of Technology Sydney, University of Wollongong, UNSW Sydney and Western Sydney University.
