North Coast

Home to the world’s largest expanse of subtropical rainforest, the stunning North Coast is characterised by its classic Aussie surf culture, World Heritage listed national parks, hinterland villages, great food and fine wine. Here you will find world-class hotels and resorts to accommodate the most discerning event planner.

A sparkling coastline of endless beaches offers surfing, whale-watching and playful dolphins. The inspiring surroundings have attracted the creative personalities of artists, writers and musicians who feature at the charming local festivals across the region.

From the popular border area of the Tweed River, to the colourful indulgences of Byron Bay, down to the established coastal resort towns around Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour, the North Coast has all the infrastructure and facilities to host a professional conference.

Team building and outdoor activities include golf, horseback riding, kayaking and hot-air ballooning. The rich volcanic soil of the Gondwana rainforests produce exotic fruits, coffee, macadamia nuts and wonderful organic produce that is served in first class restaurants all along the coast.

Getting there

Fly from Sydney to Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Ballina, and the Gold Coast (for the Tweed) with Jetstar and Virgin Blue. Smaller regional airports are serviced by Qantas Link and Rex.
