During the 2008-09 financial year, Business Events Sydney (BESydney) won 43 business events, congresses and conference bids, exceeding its target for the year.
These events will bring around 47,850 delegates and business tourists to Sydney and New South Wales (NSW) during the next few years and inject around AU$185 million into the local economy.

World Conference on Lung Cancer, 2013
This event is expected to attract up to 8,000 delegates to Sydney and inject approximately AU$19 million into our local economy.
International Congress of Audiology, 2014
This five-day conference is expected to attract more than 1,500 delegates, with an exhibition component of 100 booths. It as an estimated value of AU$8.5 million to Sydney.
