Chinese pharmaceutical company conference
Sydney hosted the annual conference of a major Chinese pharmaceutical company in November 2007. The city catered for 2,200 delegates, who all pursued both business and leisure activities.

The company’s Managing Director said staff members agreed that the Sydney event was the best conference they had ever attended. The congress culminated in a gala awards ceremony, a glittering event featuring Olympic gold medallist, Ian Thorpe as guest presenter.

Representatives from the Australian Embassy and Qantas also gave a professional presentation, furthering Chinese confidence in Sydney’s ability to deliver a premium result.
In the end, Sydney won the event over competitors Bali and Bangkok because of its beautiful harbour setting, cosmopolitan lifestyle, world famous attractions and our ability to put together the best possible conference and incentive package.
