"I have always been interested in hospitality and tourism because the variety of work environments and the broad range of opportunities really appeals to me. This interest took me to Southern Cross University where I studied business and majored in hotel management.
"To earn some extra cash and gain valuable experience while studying, I worked as a bar attendant at the Westin Sydney and Rydges Parramatta. I found this very rewarding because I could see the theory I was learning put into practice.
"I started my career with Business Events Sydney (BESydney) as a work experience student in 2005. I was then asked to stay on in a part-time position and this continued until mid 2006 when I was offered the position full time. In my time with BESydney I have been promoted three times and my current position is now Business Development Manager.
"My greatest achievement in my career, so far, is without a doubt starting my employment with such a well known and professional organisation as BESydney. I have enjoyed being part of the team that has further developed its reputation over the years.
"In my spare time I enjoy watching live music with friends, snowboarding and playing my guitar.
"I enjoy working and living in Sydney because of its amazing diversity. It offers a range of experiences to suit everybody's tastes!"
