Sydney came alive as Vivid Sydney lit up the city in a spectacular show of light, music and ideas that coloured the city with creativity and inspiration. We took the opportunity to host international famils, the annual What is the bureau? seminar and cocktail networking event, and undertook targeted media activity to profile the potential that events such as Vivid Sydney have as anchor points for business events programming. Major events that dot the New South Wales calendar each year provide great opportunities for savvy planners to maximise budgets through co-operative marketing, boost attendance and add that crucial element of excitement. Make sure you check out what's happening in town before you lock in the dates for your next event!
Savvy is a great way to describe the business event industry in NSW at the moment. New venues that will shape the business event landscape continue to be planned, and the industry is collaborating more than ever with a firm focus on innovation and best practice. This is really an exciting time of change, which is presenting real opportunities for business event organisers.
Until next time
