July newsletter

Welcome to our first newsletter for the new financial year. As we look back on our activity, I’m pleased to report that BESydney secured 103 events for Sydney and our Event Delivery Team assisted event planners with more than 120 events for the State. This is a great result and we hope to help you with your business event needs again soon.

And although it may seem a long way off, now is actually the perfect time to start planning your Christmas events. To avoid last minute hurdles including venue availability, read our article about Christmas party planning and let our complementary event delivery service do the leg work for you while you’ve still got time and budget on your side!

The team will be out and about this week with Australian Business Events Expo (ABEE) taking place at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. ABEE is the perfect one-stop-shop for keeping up to date on the leading products, destinations and services from around Australia that are essential to delivering a strategic and memorable business event. Please stop by our stand (C20) and say hi and learn more about how Sydney is growing for the future.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Lyn Lewis-Smith
CEO, Business Events Sydney
