BESydney newsletter
Winter may be tightening its grip this month, but there is plenty happening in Sydney to keep us warm.
This month, I am excited to highlight several of our city’s lovely and versatile venues. From stunning antiques and works of art at the Art Gallery of New South Wales; to stylish events at the Hilton Sydney; and environmental and big-ticket standout activities at Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney really is an extraordinary place to hold any event.
A great example of this was AccessNSW’s recent networking event at Zeta Bar, at the Hilton Sydney. We were thrilled with the number of guests who attended this event and took advantage of the many opportunities to meet some of the city’s leaders in event accommodation, venues and activities.
Zeta Bar was the perfect venue to host this event, with champagne, delicious canapés, jazz music, and a beautiful setting in a free-flowing space with a range of lounges and other seating options, and an outdoor balcony with an unsurpassed view of the beautifully lit Queen Victoria Building.
Don’t miss out just because the temperature is dropping: I do encourage you to get out and explore all that your beautiful city has to offer.
Regards,
Giselle Radulovic
Head of AccessNSW
A recent visit to the Art Gallery of New South Wales (NSW) was an excellent reminder for the AccessNSW team of just how many versatile, unique venues Sydney has to offer.
Adjacent to the Botanical Gardens, the Gallery combines breakfasts, dinners or cocktail functions with viewings of its exquisite permanent collections and exciting exhibitions.
Mhairi Fraser, Senior Manager at The Benevolent Society, found herself in the difficult position of needing to plan a large event for the Society’s regional and interstate managers, in a very short time-frame and with no logistical backup.
"I stumbled across AccessNSW at exactly the right time," she says. "A colleague put me onto AccessNSW and from that time, my panic about venue requirements and accommodation reduced.
