Work experience with Business Events Sydney
Business Events Sydney (BESydney) offers hospitality, tourism and marketing students a great opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of areas in business events tourism through its student volunteer program.
This program is tailored to final year students to help them further their career in the industry, through a volunteer position that will complement their studies.
Work experience can be undertaken in the Sales, Marketing and Stakeholder Relationships departments and could include activities such as:
- Database management
- Research and data collection
- Assisting with the coordination of events, site inspections and familiarisations
- Managing marketing collateral
- Online marketing and website management
- Telemarketing
- General administration duties
