The Business Events Sydney Ambassador Program taps into this energy by providing opportunities to promote Sydney internationally as a destination for business events such as conferences, congresses, conventions, exhibitions, general assemblies, incentives, meetings, motivational experiences and recognition events.
Ambassadors are thought leaders in their field, recognised for their professional achievements, acknowledged for their contributions and enthusiastic in their support for Sydney as an events destination. They are drawn from professional bodies, government and corporations representing key industries such as medicine, science, innovation and commerce.
The specific role varies in light of personal knowledge, area of expertise and contacts. Much of the role is to do with opening doors and introducing business opportunities.
